Denture Relines

As the body changes, the inside of the mouth can also change. Anyone with dentures will have noticed that over time, the gums tend shrink down. This is the cause of most denture retention problems that occur after a few years of use. What this means is that there is a small area between the gums and the denture base which is the cause of loss of the seal in the mouth. A reline aims to fill this space with fresh acrylic helping to regain this seal inside the mouth and returning denture suction.
